SPACe is a nonprofit community based and member owned organization dedicated to support of the arts and art education.  Resources which support SPACe include community volunteers, membership dues, donations, booth fees from the annual Art in the Park festival and a percent of sales of artwork in the Gallery and Gallery Gift Shop.

The Spanish Peaks Arts Council (SPACe) promotes and encourages public appreciation, education and awareness of the arts in all its forms, and assists individuals to achieve their artistic objectives, in the Spanish Peaks region of southern Colorado. Current hours: Tuesdays - Saturdays, 10 am - 3 pm. Sundays noon - 3 pm.
