Featured Artist Peggy Zehring creates her stunning compositions by juxtaposing the square and the circle, enhancing and layering these basic forms with sand, ash, marble dust, chalk dust, spackle, and bold colors, all held together with acrylic mediums. She has had solo shows in Taipei, Taiwan, New York City, Seattle, and Chicago, and has received numerous awards. Zehring received her BA degree in fine art at the University of Illinois, Chicago, with "honors and highest distinction". She completed post-graduate study with Elaine deKooning.
