Food As Art

Opening Reception Saturday, May 16, 5 - 7 pm

Ann Gethen read and animated her poem "Lemon Curd". Chip Kraynyk and Charles Eakin performed and read their composition "Hambone" and Hannah Merryman read her short story "Hunger". Cookbooks were available from the Cuchara Hermosa Club, the La Veta Public Library, and Ann Gethen.

        

Winners of People's Choice Awards included Carol Putnam's  "Untitled" (Red Cabbage); Annie Enke's "Sugar Skulls"; Ann Gethen's "Storm in the Breadbasket"; and K. Briggs/S. Greer's "The  Garden Party"

Many of the pieces are under glass, which creates too many reflections so here are some group pictures:
