MINIATURE SHOW
This year's Gift of Art Show is a wonderful collection of small paintings, tiny pots, lovely porcelain collectables, intricate miniature wood renditions, and many more small but powerful original creations by local artists. Here are just a few examples of artwork in the show.

Judith Baker Montano
Originator of the "Centerpiece" Crazy Quilt Method
La Veta artist Judith Baker Montano will be on hand at the opening reception for the Gift of Art show to introduce her newest book "Fibreart Montage, Combining Quilting, Embroidery and Photography with Embellishments". The 265 page, spiral bound book is full of beautiful photography and step out instructions. There are nine different subjects in one book, covering crazy quilting, photography, computer skills, watercolor painting, land/seascapes, underwater, cottages, embroidery, and dying fabrics. Six of the pieces spotlighted in the book will be on display during the Gift of Art Show.
This is "Monterrey Kelp Beds", an underwater collage created by Judith with hand dyed fabrics, beading, free form embroidery, fabric manipulation and paint.

Holiday ART Feast - Italian style

Fundraiser for the SPACe Building Expansion Fund.
A progressive dinner serving guests at three outstanding art galleries in La Veta--appetizers at Piņon Hill Pottery, main course at the SPACe Gallery and dessert at the La Veta Fine Art Gallery. Drawings will be held for artwork donated by local artists.
